Here is a comparison of the old bracket (top) and the new bracket (bottom) A bit different. I guess I had a lot of sheet styrene when I was building the first one.
And here it is installed. More room to install something behind the main eye.
I have glued the cross bracket to the bearing. This was just 5 minute epoxy.
I eventually had to do a bit of grinding to the bracket to allow the wheel to clear when it rotated.
Well it turns out the lightning thing I wanted to put behind the main eye is BIG and HEAVY. I am no longer sure I want to put it behind the main eye as I am worried that the extra weigh would be a problem for the dome motor.
