Time to mount the dome rotation bearing

The foam is not the strongest material to put screws into so I drilled holes and put screws in them using the bearing to line them up.. Well after drilling the holes and putting in the screws I pulled the screws out and put a coat of Vaseline on the threads. I then injected resin into the holes and screwed the screws in. The idea is that the resin will cure and give the screws something solid to mount to

Next was to mount the bearing on the dome as centered as possible

Using the same method as the body I used wood screws to mount the bearing to the dome. However since this has to be removable I will change the screws. They were just used to locate the holes. Dang but if the dome isn't slightly oval also

Since I had some free time I started a Ep 3 Jedi Fighter for a theatre group

It is also here that I find out that my body is not completely circular but slightly oval. If making the body or dome it is recommended that the bearing be used to make sure it is all round. I have a bad feeling this problem is going to come back and haunt me
