This is the new electronics for my new R2. I have made the connectors interchangeable with my 2 other droids so if there is a problem with this or their electronics I can quickly swap them out. The new control box has the more current speed controller and sound system. Also since this was laid out from the beginning it is a lot more cleaner than my first control box which is a massive mess of wires. I also like the control box as it means if there are problems I can remove the control box from my droid and work on it at a table instead of having to reach into R2

This is the other side of the control box. Upper left is an old speed control I got used for my dome motor. Upper right is the 12ch rf remote for the sound system. Lower right is the sparkfun MP3 trigger. Lower middle is the amplifier, Lower left is the filter for the sound system as some people have had grounding issued.
This is a close up of the speed controller (left) and the receiver (right). Right above the speed controller is 2 fuses. Currently I am using only one. They are the resettable types.

This is the 12CH remote and the Sparkfun MP3 trigger. Note that I have used only 12 of the triggers.
The wires are screwed into the normally off contact and the board is set to momentary latch
