Vader World Tour

As I understand it the Boston Fanforce came up with the idea to send a toy Vader to various Fanforce clubs around the world. As it stops at the various cities, pictures are to be taken with Vader and the local fanforce at the local sites. Now it was Toronto's turn. The meeting time was 5pm at the CN Tower but a couple of us were worried that by that time it may be too dark for a decent photo. So Greg and I set off to try and get a couple of decent photos before meeting up with others. Our first stop was Casa Loma.

While beside Casa Loma we decide to see if we can get at least one good shot with the CN Tower in the background.
Try number 2. Not a bad shot but the smoke stack sort of ruins the mood.
Along the way we pick up another straggler who joins the fun. We then drive to Ontario place hoping for a good shot of the Toronto skyline. However trees and condominiums get in the way. We drive along Queen Quey hoping for an opening between the condominiums that would give us a clear shot of the CN Tower. We luck out
We just arrive at the base of the CN tower and try to get a shot with Vader and the tower together. Either Vader is in focus or the tower is in focus
Try number 2. We shall see what we do when we meet up with the others
We finally meet up with the others but by then it is COLD and DARK outside. To get this shot I am lying on the snow on the ground and the camera is set for a 1 second exposure. I could not get the tripod down far enough so there is a slight blur. This will be the best shot of the bunch.
P.S. Matt's jacket kept my butt from getting soaking wet.
Try no 2 with flash. I was focusing on the tower so that is why everything is fuzzy. The flash makes the shutter speed at 1/60 which is not enough time to get the Tower to show up in the picture
Now I am focussed on the people
While walking to the tower we find a CN Tower sign and decide to pose beside it. Vader sits on top of the sign.
Here Vader surveys the planet of Hoth
It was damn cold that day so after several pictures at the CN Tower we go off to dinner. Vader decides to sample Canadian Beer and watch some hockey.

While waiting for dinner Vader tried the Tacos
Vader is watching his waste so he has a salad for dinner while most others go for ribs and chicken
Vader then tries the old Jedi mind tricks to get the people to do his biddings

One final shot before we would have to go back into the cold.
