Hobby Show 2004
Another year and another hobby show and R2 gets to entertain again
R2 goes for a stroll but rarely gets up to full speed as it can get very crowded
R2 mingles and entertains the kids
Here is Heath trying to move his R2 through the crowd. John (the tall guy in the white shirt to the right) helps to clear the path for R2. John is an Ohio 501st and was in Buffalo for work and decided to drive up for the day to talk R2ing
R2 tries the charm on the kids. The kid is not sure what to make of something bigger than her.
Ah open space and the 2 R2s get to run around. The Meccanos are displaying their stuff in the background

It is not only kids that like to look into the HPs
Here we are in the booth. It gives us some room to relax and talk with people about building their own droid.
Heath is standing, I am sitting and you can see part of John to the right. Other builders who showed up during the weekend were Lorenzo and Frank. Thanks to Sabrina for dropping by to chat and for taking these pictures.
